Barack Obama & General Wes Clark Have No Shame!
My friend Ed Morrissey at Hot Air has a great post (here) on General Wes Clark's attack on John McCain's military record while on Face the Nation yesterday.
Barack Obama and the National Democratic Party should immediately denounce and dismiss General Clack from any future campaigning in this election year, but he and the Democrats will not! As Ed Morrissey points out, this is a planned attack on John McCain's character.
The Obama Campaign, using their surrogates, have attacked McCain's age, mental state, bravery and honesty. Is this the "change" that everyone wants in Washington? A ambitious young politician bent on personal destruction of an opponents record and accomplishments? How dare Obama and his minions attack the military record of John McCain. Where and when did Obama serve? What sacrifice has he or his family made on the battlefield? Unlike John Kerry, where are those who served with McCain in combat claiming anything other then his honorable selfless service?
It is time for America to stand up and denounce the tactics of the "New Democratic Party" under the leadership of MoveOn.org. Barack Obama doesn't hold a candle to John McCain when it comes to national security and military matters. To elect Barack Obama would, in my opinion, weaken this country at open us to further terrorist attacks.
Listen people, I have met General Wes Clark and I can tell you he is no General David Petraeus anymore then Barack Obama is the quality of John McCain!
Thank you for your service, sir. I concur with the point that this "General" is am embarrassment and needs to be put away in a dark room somewhere. Welcome to the blogosphere.

Thank you for your service. The liberal web sites are going absolutely ballistic defending BHO and General Clark. They are frothing at the mouth! Then again, liberals would see nothing wrong with any of Clark's obesrvations, such as this one he made during his failed 2004 presidential campaign:
“I think they came into office looking for the opportunity, not quite sure how to get it. And 9/11 — presto. Perfect opportunity.” It’s all about “his father’s war.”
Reprehensible.

I just cant believe that you believe what you are saying. Have you lost your critical thinking skills to the memorization of Sun Tzu or has your military service turned you into a hate monger.
Do you honestly believe that a man who graduated at the bottom of his class and who was given keys to the jet fighter by Daddy is qualified to be CIC?
You Sir are off your rocker.
P.S. You do realize that the Eagles Nest was Hitlers home? The name of your blog is named after the home that Hitler received for his 50th from Goring. The man is responsible for the deaths of 6 million people and you name your blog after his home? You cannot be taken seriously.
Semper Fi (to my country)
Ill bet you dont have the guts to post this comment.
Dear Former Marine,
Thank you for reading my "The Eagle's Nest Blog." If you could read the web site you would see that it is named in honor of the 2nd Battalion, 506th Infantry (Band of Brothers) who captured the Nest in 1945. That is also the battalion I served with in Vietnam in 1970. I'm always amazed how you military impostures feel it is necessary to claim to be former soldiers. Your obsession with John McCain is noted. In my opinion it is unfortunate that your hatred for McCain has impaired your judgement to this degree. You must live a very sad life indeed. Yes, McCain is far more qualified to be CIC then that rank amateur Obama ever will be. Likewise, further discussion on this subject would be a total waste of my time.
I strongly believe as Sir Winston Spencer Churchill once said: "A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject."
I suggest you go drink your Obama Kool Aid and "chill out."
Respectfully,
JR
